If you are looking to buy a traditional wooden greenhouse, then you are often facing a number of limitations. One of the main issues with traditional wooden greenhouses is their durability. For instance, greenhouses made from softwoods such as pine and cedar are usually limited to a life span of between 10 and 25 years before a replacement is required.
A viable alternative to address this would be hardwoods such as teak or mahogany. Although these are longer lasting, they do come with ethical concerns on account of them being sourced from the rainforest. This makes them increasingly rare, expensive and ecologically unfriendly.
We have searched for the perfect alternative to these and decided to opt for Accoya wood for our framework and boarding. It’s solid aluminum frame elegantly sits within a wooden Accoya framework. Glazed uppermost with toughened safety glass whilst the lower section has heavy duty Accoya wood paneling, it’s designed for a lifetime of hard work.
Not your typical glasshouse door, this one is secure, a high specification Eurolock (with spare keys), a quality handle, inside and out, hinges that will comfortably carry the weight of the door opening to 180 degrees where a push action will keep the door secured back and a pull will release when the day is done.

For instance, a simple screw with twine around the head would hold up your tomatoes or your electrician may use P-clips screwed into the groove to route your wiring.
The most important piece of information is however here. The screws should be stainless steel, self tapping, 4.2mm (no.8) gauge. The depth of the groove is 8mm, it cannot be tightened beyond this. A variety of screws may be required to suit your plans.
