This Spring you will have chance to see for yourself the timeless elegance and craftsmanship invested in a Cultivar Victorian greenhouse. From 2 – 10th March we’ll be showing a large Victorian greenhouse at the renowned Philadelphia Flower Show. This iconic event, steeped in tradition and horticultural excellence, serves as the perfect backdrop to debut a large Victorian greenhouse from our Kew range. You’ll find us at Booth 300, the glasshouse should be easy to spot being 11 feet tall.
The Victorian greenhouse, with its narrow pane centres and 45 degree roof pitch, harks back to a bygone era of grandeur and sophistication. At the heart of the exhibit lies a commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship, the greenhouse being constructed from a combination of powder coated aluminium and FSC certified Accoya wood. The greenhouse is not merely a structure but a testament to the fusion of tradition and innovation. Equipped with state-of-the-art ventilation, it seamlessly integrates modern amenities while preserving the charm and character of its Victorian heritage.
Visitors to the Philadelphia Flower Show will have the opportunity to step inside this architectural masterpiece and experience firsthand the beauty and functionality of a Victorian greenhouse. Such a greenhouse will supply the means to a grow fresh nutrient dense fruit and vegetables as well as having enough space to try growing something a little more exotic such as a range of orchids or fragrant herbs.
The show provides the opportunity to raise awareness about the importance of gardens in preserving green spaces and fostering a deeper connection with nature. Attendees will see first hand how a greenhouse can be used to foster sustainable gardening practices as well as providing fresh food for the table. Owning a cultivar greenhouse provides the opportunity to extend the growing season and the time you spend in the garden enjoying your hobby. It offers a framework, a focal point for the entire garden design as well as being a space to nurture plants safe from inclement weather. The presence of our Victorian greenhouse at the Philadelphia Flower Show is not just a chance to see the most innovatory of glasshouses, but also a symbol of collaboration and cultural exchange. It represents the enduring bond between the United States and Britain, united by a shared passion for horticulture and a reverence for botanical beauty.
