Greenhouse or Glasshouse, what’s in a name?

When it comes to encouraging plant growth and healthy propagation the clarity and durability of the glass is second to none. Gone are the days of delicate 2mm thick horticultural glass which shatters into shards at the slightest knock or wind. Now we use 4mm tempered safety glass. It takes a one in a million chance to break this glass and should this happen it crystallizes, not unlike a windscreen, into thousands of pieces. With our system any damaged glass is easily replaced. All our glass is thermally toughened to conform to EN 12150-1 requirements.
